  Dr. Daniel Weaver was born and raised in the New Orleans area. He joined the U.S. Army at age 17 and served in the infantry for two years before continuing his military service in the Louisiana National Guard for an additional six years. He completed his undergraduate studies at LSU earning a degree in Biochemistry. He then attended LSU Dental School, graduating with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Since 1999, Dr. Weaver has been in private practice in Southwest Louisiana. He has completed the Medical College of Georgia's Implant Maxicourse, a comprehensive training program in Implant Dentistry. Dr. Weaver has held offices and served on numerous committees at the state and local level, including President of the Calcasieu Parish Dental Society, President of the local component of the Louisiana Dental Association, Louisiana's Dental Peer Review Committee, Louisiana's Dental Governmental Affairs Committee, and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Calcasieu Community Clinic. He has also been awarded several Postdoctoral Fellowships, including an Academy of General Dentistry Fellowship, an American Academy of Implant Dentistry Associate Fellowship, and an International Congress of Oral Implantologists Fellowship. Dr. Weaver is a member of the following organizations: American Dental Association, Louisiana Dental Association, Southwest Dental Association, Calcasieu Parish Dental Society, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, International Congress of Oral Implantologists, Academy of General Dentistry, American College of Oral Implantologists, and Prosthodontic Section of the ICOI. He met his wife Stephanie in dental school. Danny and Stephanie have two children.   Dr. Stephanie Weaver was born and raised in the New Orleans area. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Florida earning a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She then attended Graduate School at the University of New Orleans studying Genetics followed by LSU Dental School, graduating with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Since 1999, Dr. Weaver has been in private practice in Southwest Louisiana. Dr. Weaver is a Past-President of the Calcasieu Parish Dental Society. She has served 6 years on the Board of Directors of the Louisiana Dental Association, and was named the first female president in 2013. She is also very active in the Junior League of Lake Charles. Since receiving her DDS, Dr. Weaver has continued her dental education by attending numerous courses focusing on Cosmetic Dentistry. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Louisiana Dental Association, Southwest Dental Association, Calcasieu Parish Dental Society, Lake Charles Civic Ballet Board, and Academy of General Dentistry. She met her husband in dental school. Stephanie and Danny have two children. |
